JavaPolis 2k6 talk on Desktop Patterns & Data Binding

Although this talk predates the recent evolutions on the topic for a large part, I liked the overview and explanation of the different approaches/patterns; Autonomous View, MVP, Presentation Model etc.

The speaker is the creator of the JGoodies binding.

Update: actually, the beta version of the Parleys interface is a *lot* better
In general I’m not the biggest fan of Flash usage, but in Parleys’ case, they’ve been able create a great interface for watching talks/presentations.

Update #2: the presentation slides are actually listed in the JGoodies articles section as Desktop Patterns & Data Binding.
